Cancellation Policy

Last updated: September 2026

1. Cancellation windows are set per trek

Each trek or tour on TrackYourTour is listed by an independent Operator, and that Operator sets its own cancellation window and refund percentages for each batch. Before you pay, the exact cancellation deadlines and the refund you would get at each stage are shown on the booking summary — this is what applies to your booking, not a single platform-wide rule.

2. Cancelling a booking

  • You can cancel a confirmed booking from your Trips section any time before the trek’s start date.
  • The refund amount depends on how far before the trek start date you cancel, as shown on your booking.
  • Once a trek has started, or after its start date has passed, a booking can no longer be cancelled for a refund.

3. How refunds are processed

Eligible refunds are issued to your original payment method through our payment gateway partner. Refunds are typically initiated within a few business days of cancellation; the time it takes to reflect in your account or statement depends on your bank or card issuer.

4. If an Operator cancels a batch

If an Operator cancels a batch — for example due to low sign-ups, weather, or safety conditions — you will be notified and are entitled to a full refund of the amount you paid, regardless of the standard cancellation window.

5. Rescheduling

Whether you can move your booking to a different batch or date instead of cancelling depends on the Operator and seat availability. Reach out to us or the Operator through the booking’s support option as early as possible if you need to reschedule.

6. No-shows

If you do not show up for a trek you booked without cancelling in advance, the booking is treated as completed and is not eligible for a refund.

7. Disputes

If a refund you were entitled to hasn’t been processed, or you disagree with how a cancellation was handled, contact us through the Contact page and we’ll help resolve it with the Operator.
