Day 1
Arrival in Kochi & Transfer to Munnar
Pickup from the railway station on arrival, then drive to Munnar. On the way you visit tea plantations and cover waterfalls like Valara and Cheeyappara. On reaching Munnar, check into the hotel and relax. You can visit the local markets and surroundings, with the rest of the day at leisure. Distance from Cochin to Munnar: 130 km (approx.), travel time 4 to 5 hours (approx.).
Day 2
Munnar Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit Eravikulam National Park, a must-see in Munnar whose lush green hills are home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr; enjoy the ride in a park bus. Next stop is the Tea Museum by Tata Tea (closed on Mondays) to learn about tea processing and taste a cup of tea. Then visit Rose Garden, Photo Point, Echo Point, Mattupetty Dam and Elephant Arrival Point before returning to the hotel for the night.
